Hannah Read is an award winning multi-instrumentalist and composer who was recently described as “one of the finest singers of the day” (MOJO Magazine). Based in Northern California and brought up in Scotland, her music is steeped deep in both sides of the Atlantic.

Equally at home improvising on fiddle, playing Appalachian old-time music or delivering finely wrought original songs, she is an artist that gets equal thrill touring as an International band leader, as well as a collaborative side-musician. Weaving between musical worlds Hannah has toured and performed with Grammy award winning Julien Baker (Boygenius) and bluegrass luminary Tony Trischka, BBC Folk Award-winning Songs of Separation, Mipso and more.
